At its monthly evening meeting, Ipswich Rotary inducted new members Sheryl Henderson, Ipswich Manager at TD Bank; John Muldoon, publisher of www.thelocalne.ws; and Cathy Sutherby, owner of The Village Pancake House in Rowley.  Sheryl, John and Cathy join a dedicated team of over 60 caring professionals who are committed to making a difference through service in Ipswich, Rowley and the world.  Also announced at the meeting was a schedule of community service projects planned for Ipswich and Rowley in the coming months.

This meeting also marked the kick-off of a new form of Rotary membership. Service Members will be full members of Rotary who will meet with the club once a month, usually in the evening, and commit to a minimum of 25 hours of community service.  We are introducing this flexible form of membership since many professionals tell us that they can’t meet weekly but seek opportunities for community service, networking, mentoring, and the fun of fellowship.  As it has done for nearly 115 years, Rotary provides many opportunities for personal and professional growth while doing good in the world and having a good time.
