On Saturday, December 12, Ipswich High School Interact led youth of all ages on a festive Jingle Bell Walk to welcome Santa to Ipswich.  "Buddy the Elf" and Ipswich youth of all ages greeted Santa at Town Wharf and led the jolly elf and his friends on a joyful walk along the river to Town Hall.  Along the way, the Grinch was spotted and retained by the Ipswich police.  Inspired by the large assemblage of cheerful celebrants, the heart of the Grinch grew three times that day.

Ipswich Interact is s High School club dedicated to community service.  Proceeds from this event and other club activities are used to help people in our local and global communities.  The money raised from the Jingle Bell Walk will be donated to Ipswich Caring to provide holiday meals and toys to local families.
